About the Role

As a Commercial HVAC Estimator, you will own the cost side of bid pursuits for a contractor that delivers HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, controls, sheet metal, and complete lifecycle mechanical services. Your estimates support projects across commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, and institutional markets. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Belle Meade, Davidson County.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for mechanical and HVAC scopes across diverse project types.
• Develop detailed, line-by-line cost builds that account for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Assemble competitive, well-documented proposals for commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, and institutional clients.
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents to define scope and flag risks early.
• Partner with project teams to transition winning bids smoothly into execution.

Qualifications

• Progressive estimating experience within mechanical construction.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, controls, and sheet metal systems.
• Strong command of takeoff methods and cost-build fundamentals.
