About the Role
As an IT Specialist 1/IT Support Assistant, 2 at Telos, you will help keep day-to-day technology operations running smoothly for an organization whose work centers on cyber, cloud, and enterprise security. This is an on-site role based in the US, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, dependable service delivery, and being the go-to resource when colleagues need technical help. You will gain exposure to the kind of security-focused systems that some of the most protection-conscious organizations rely on every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver responsive technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, peripherals, and standard business applications.
- Log, track, and follow through on support tickets until each request is fully resolved.
- Assist with routine system administration, account management, and access requests.
- Support secure handling of IT assets in line with the company's security-first standards.
- Document procedures and escalate complex problems to senior technical staff when needed.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of desktop operating systems, common business software, and basic networking.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a methodical approach to diagnosing technical issues.
- Clear communication skills and a genuine commitment to helping users.
- Attention to detail and reliability when working with sensitive IT systems.
- Authorization to work full-time on-site in the United States.
