Maintenance Technician III

Cascade Management is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician III in Portland, Oregon (Multnomah County) to keep The Louisa Flowers Apartments running safely, efficiently, and at the high standard our residents deserve.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician III, you will serve as a senior hands-on problem solver across this LIHTC community, handling the full range of repairs, preventive upkeep, and turnover work that keeps apartments comfortable and code-compliant. This is an on-site position in Portland working a steady Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), 40 hours per week, with compensation ranging from $22.00 to $33.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete skilled repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to protect the property and reduce emergency calls.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents through prompt, thorough make-ready turnovers.
• Respond to resident service requests courteously and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and building systems in clean, working condition.
• Document work performed and uphold safety and compliance standards required at an LIHTC community.

Qualifications

• Advanced, well-rounded maintenance experience consistent with a Technician III level.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and prioritize a varied daily workload.
• Reliable, customer-focused approach to resident interactions.
• Availability for the full-time, on-site Portland schedule.
