Property Manager – HELIOS

SteelHead Management is hiring a full-time Property Manager (HELIOS) in Chamberlayne, Henrico County, to lead daily operations for one of our multifamily and mixed-use communities. About the Role

As the Property Manager for the HELIOS community, you will serve as the on-site leader responsible for the overall performance, presentation, and resident experience of the property. Based in Chamberlayne, Henrico County, this is a full-time, in-person position with no remote option, ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys both the operational and people-focused sides of property management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HELIOS multifamily community in Chamberlayne, Henrico County.
• Deliver an exceptional resident experience and foster strong tenant relationships and retention.
• Manage leasing activity, occupancy goals, renewals, and marketing initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and support on-site staff in line with SteelHead's team-first, people-first culture.
• Monitor property budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to meet ownership objectives.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor relationships, and the ongoing upkeep of the asset.
• Ensure compliance with applicable housing regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential or mixed-use property management, ideally within multifamily communities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop an on-site team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service abilities.
• Comfort with budgets, financial reporting, and property performance metrics.
• Availability to work full-time, on-site in Chamberlayne, Henrico County.
