Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking a dedicated full-time RN - Medical-Surgical to join our care team in Garden, Weld County, Colorado. About the Role
As an RN - Medical-Surgical at Banner North Colorado Medical Center, you will provide direct bedside care to adult patients recovering from surgery, managing acute illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic treatment. This is a full-time, on-site position in Garden, Weld County. The placement is offered through Coast Medical Service, a nationwide travel nursing and allied healthcare staffing agency recognized for delivering a top-tier experience to both seasoned and first-time travelers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for medical-surgical patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient outcomes
- Document patient status, interventions, and progress in compliance with facility standards
- Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Colorado
- Clinical experience in a medical-surgical or comparable acute-care unit preferred
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, on-site hospital environment in Garden, Weld County
