This full-time, on-site position with The J centers on dependable, safety-first transportation for Camp Sabra. As a CDL/School Bus Driver based in Four Seasons, Camden County, you will operate a range of vehicles across varied terrain — confidently handling rural back roads, busy city streets, and high-speed interstate stretches — while making sure passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport campers, staff members, and volunteers wherever the day's schedule requires.
- Operate cars, minivans, and 12-passenger vans in rural, urban, and open-highway driving conditions.
- Drive passengers to and from hospitals, medical and doctor appointments, airports, and similar destinations in a punctual manner.
- Complete a thorough pre-trip inspection before starting any vehicle.
- Perform a post-trip walkthrough to check for lost items and confirm the vehicle is ready for its next use.
Qualifications
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for school bus and passenger transport.
- Comfort and proven skill driving in rural, city, and interstate environments.
- A strong commitment to passenger safety, punctuality, and routine vehicle inspections.
- Reliability, attentiveness, and the ability to support campers and staff with care and patience.
