About the Role
This is a full-time travel nursing position for a Med Surg / Telemetry RN based in Wilson, NC. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, beginning 07/06/2026, with a schedule of 36 hours each week. You will work 12-hour night shifts, monitoring patients and delivering attentive bedside care alongside an established clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients during 12-hour night shifts.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, interpret readings, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while following established protocols.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the patient record.
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and support staff to coordinate safe, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in North Carolina.
- Clinical experience in Med Surg / Telemetry nursing.
- Ability to commit to the full 13-week travel assignment starting 07/06/2026.
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
- Comfort adapting quickly to a new facility and care team as a travel nurse.
