About the Role
As the Tier 3 Operations Lead, you will guide a compact operations team that owns Tier 1 through Tier 3 incident management within a secure government setting. You are the final technical escalation point — the engineer who resolves the toughest system and user problems while keeping daily operations steady and responsive.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical authority and last line of escalation for complex system and end-user incidents.
- Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to a small Tier 1–3 operations team.
- Manage the full incident lifecycle, ensuring timely diagnosis, resolution, and follow-up across all support tiers.
- Apply deep troubleshooting expertise to diagnose and remediate challenging technical issues.
- Support a U.S. Government customer operating in a secure, mission-critical environment.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. security clearance, as required for this position.
- Extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving advanced system and user-facing issues.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a technical operations team across multiple support tiers.
- Strong command of incident management practices spanning Tier 1 through Tier 3 support.
- Comfort working full-time and on-site within a controlled, government-focused operations environment.
