Holland Hospital is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist (Inpatient) for a part-time, days schedule at our Holland, Ottawa County campus, supporting patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.
About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Therapist on our inpatient psychiatric unit, you will play a central part in evaluating and caring for patients admitted for acute mental health needs. Working on-site in Holland, Ottawa County, you will partner closely with a multidisciplinary care team to design treatment that places each patient at the center of their own recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients on the inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Provide therapeutic treatment and clinical support throughout each patient's stay.
- Gather perspectives and history from the patient's family members and significant others to inform care.
- Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to build individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
- Document evaluations, progress, and care decisions in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Clinical training and credentials appropriate for a behavioral health or mental health therapist role.
- Experience assessing and treating individuals in an inpatient or acute psychiatric setting is highly valued.
- Strong collaborative skills for working within a multidisciplinary care team.
- Commitment to person-centered, compassionate care and clear clinical documentation.
