About the Role
As a Project Manager (Healthcare IT) at Cognizant in Annapolis, you will own the planning and delivery of System Integration (SI) proof-of-concept (POC) work centered on claims processing and integration deliverables. This is an on-site, full-time position ideal for a delivery-focused leader who thrives at the intersection of healthcare technology and structured project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the SI POC schedule, manage milestones, and keep work moving toward agreed targets.
- Align efforts across SI, EDI, and other contributing teams to deliver integration outcomes.
- Monitor and document risks, open issues, and cross-team dependencies before they affect timelines.
- Lead regular status reporting and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Support on-time completion of claims-processing and integration deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing technology projects, ideally within healthcare IT or claims/EDI environments.
- Strong command of project scheduling, milestone tracking, and dependency management.
- Skilled at coordinating multiple technical teams and stakeholders toward shared goals.
- Confident communicator able to facilitate status updates and surface risks proactively.
- Comfortable working on-site in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County.
