About the Role
As a Social Producer at CNET Group, you will lead audience growth across two distinct brands, ensuring our content surfaces wherever readers and viewers go to learn about technology. Based on-site in New York City, this is a hands-on role connecting strategy with execution. You will serve as the connective tissue between our social, editorial, and video teams, turning broad business objectives into compelling, platform-ready content that resonates and converts.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand and strengthen CNET Group's audience footprint across social platforms for two separate brands.
- Position CNET Group as the leading and most credible authority in the technology space, everywhere audiences discover content.
- Collaborate closely with social, editorial, and video teams to align efforts and share insights.
- Translate high-level company goals into engaging, audience-first content tailored to each channel.
- Identify emerging opportunities to grow reach, engagement, and brand presence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience producing and growing audiences for social media, ideally within a media, publishing, or tech environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly alongside editorial, video, and social colleagues.
- A talent for turning strategic priorities into creative, results-driven content.
- Deep familiarity with the platforms and trends shaping how audiences consume tech content today.
- Availability to work full-time, on-site in New York City, New York.
