As a Backend Developer, you will be tasked with building and maintaining the server-side web application logic as well as the integration of the front-end part. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

- Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using programming languages like Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET.
- Implement robust security and data protection settings.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Design and implement data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Develop and maintain APIs.
- Conduct UI tests and optimize performance.
- Manage hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
- Proven work experience of 5 years as a Backend Developer.
- In-depth understanding of web development.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, or .NET.
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
- Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or with a group.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
- Familiarity with content management systems.
- Understanding of session management in a distributed server environment.
