You will support the Terminal Services team in enhancing the transparency of railway freight terminal operations: understanding delays, evaluating capacities, visualizing processes – and deriving concrete optimization strategies from these analyses. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Processing & Analyzing historical operational data (Excel files), e.g., train delays, failures, terminal occupancy Data structuring, cleaning, and standardization from various sources to make them usable for scenario analysis and capacity evaluations Visualizing processes (e.g., workflows, interfaces, roles) using MS Visio Creating and developing presentations, documents, and templates in MS Office 365 Operative support in daily operations (e.g., analyses, reconciliations, preparation of meetings) Conducting process analyses to identify optimization potentials in terminal operations What You Bring We are looking for a student enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Logistics, International Management or comparable fields. You have a very secure handling of Office 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. You possess structured and meticulous working habits – you can make data "readable" (for people and decisions). A keen interest in logistics/operations and the desire to improve things measurably is essential. Experience with scenario analysis, reporting, process modeling, or KPI logics would be a plus.
