About the Role
As a Welder with Aerotek in Hamilton, you will be responsible for producing durable, high-tolerance metal components using a variety of welding processes and materials. Working a consistent 1st shift schedule (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM), you will operate from technical blueprints and engineering drawings to fabricate components that meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute MIG, TIG, and flux core welding processes on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication work
- Apply advanced fabrication techniques to produce precise, structurally sound metal components
- Follow all welding safety protocols and workplace safety standards at all times
- Contribute consistently to production targets while maintaining quality craftsmanship
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with MIG, TIG, and flux core welding methods
- Proficiency working with stainless steel, aluminum, and similar metals
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of welding safety standards and best practices
- Solid fabrication skills with an eye for precision and detail
