Travel- RN – CVOR

TalentBurst, Inc. is recruiting a skilled Travel RN – CVOR for a full-time assignment at HCA Houston Conroe in Conroe, Montgomery County, TX, supporting a high-volume cardiovascular surgical program with a consistent day-shift schedule.

About the Role

This travel cardiovascular operating room RN position offers a Monday through Friday day shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) with a required call rotation, providing stability and predictability uncommon in travel nursing. The weekly gross pay for this assignment is $2,356.

What You'll Do

• Deliver perioperative nursing care across all phases — preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative — for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub during open-heart surgeries, coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, and related cardiovascular cases
• Maintain a sterile surgical field and ensure compliance with infection control protocols throughout each procedure
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and the broader OR team to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately assess, monitor, and document patient condition and nursing interventions throughout the surgical episode
• Participate in the required call rotation to support emergent cardiovascular cases

What We're Looking For

• Active, unencumbered RN licensure (Texas license or compact eligibility required)
• Demonstrated hands-on CVOR experience — both scrub and circulator competencies strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, surgical instrumentation, and OR safety standards
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced academic or large community hospital environment
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
