This full-time position will drive strategic relationships with key opinion leaders throughout the Southeast region, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky. What This Role Involves As a Thought Leader Liaison Gastroenterology specialist, you'll partner with leading gastroenterologists across the Southeast to advance our clinical engagement and commercial strategy for gastroenterology therapeutics. This is a field-based marketing role focused on relationship development rather than direct sales. You'll serve as a bridge between Sanofi's cross-functional teams and regional clinical leaders, ensuring that clinical experts have access to the resources, education, and support they need to optimize patient care and advance gastroenterology practice. Your Responsibilities Build and nurture relationships with key gastroenterology opinion leaders throughout your assigned Southeast territory Coordinate marketing initiatives, clinical education programs, and thought leadership opportunities with identified specialists Facilitate connections between Sanofi's cross-functional resources—including medical, sales, and commercial teams—and gastroenterology key opinion leaders Identify and address gaps in educational and clinical support for our gastroenterology portfolio Support the implementation of regional strategy for our gastroenterology products, including Dupilumab and other offerings Travel regularly throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky to meet with clinical partners What You Bring Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, pharmacy, business, or related field Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical marketing or account management Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build credibility among clinical professionals Understanding of gastroenterology, specialty medicine, or related clinical domains Project coordination and organizational abilities to manage multiple relationships and initiatives Willingness to travel 40–60% throughout the Southeast region Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems Working at Sanofi At Sanofi, we believe that science is at the heart of transforming human health.
