About the Role
As a Test Technician with Curtiss-Wright in East Windsor, CT, you will carry out a range of testing activities centered on raw materials, coating samples, and finished part samples. Working closely with the production and quality teams, you will confirm that every thermal spray coating meets blueprint requirements, customer expectations, and applicable specifications before parts move forward. This is a full-time, on-site position (not remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing on incoming raw materials and coating samples to confirm they meet established standards.
- Inspect and verify thermal spray coatings applied to part samples.
- Prepare specimens and evaluate results to ensure coatings conform to blueprints, customer needs, and technical specifications.
- Document findings accurately and communicate any deviations to the appropriate teams.
- Support overall quality assurance efforts across the East Windsor site.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge or hands-on experience relevant to materials, coatings, or laboratory testing.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written specifications and blueprints.
- Comfort working with measurement and inspection tools in a sample-preparation environment.
- Reliable, methodical approach to recording and reporting test results.
- Willingness to work on-site at the East Windsor, CT location.
