The Territory Manager is responsible for presenting products and services to existing and prospective agencies, identifying consumer characteristics, and promoting and selling products. The role requires excellent communication skills, time management, sales acumen, problem-solving, and organization.
Requirements
- Present products and services to existing and prospective agencies
- Identify specific consumer characteristics
- Recommend ways to promote and sell products
- Meet or exceed new business submission, quotation, profitability, and production goals
- Manage and further develop existing agency relationships
- Collaborate with sales representatives
- Develop agency profiles
- Analyze sales and marketing data
- Evaluate territory performance
- Respond to feedback and potential barriers to entry
