Mercor is seeking a Technical Writer to create technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on computer science problems. The role involves producing original problem sets, writing reference solutions, and collaborating with AI research teams.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, or MS in CS with 3+ years engineering, research, or teaching experience, or BS in CS with 5+ years software engineering, systems, or applied CS practice
- Working fluency in at least two of: algorithms, systems, databases, networks, ML, theory of computation
- Comfortable reading and interpreting performance benchmarks, system architecture charts, and algorithmic complexity figures
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
