About the Role
As a Technical Sales and Field Service Engineer based in San Francisco, you will join CaptiveAire's sales team and play a central part in strengthening relationships with current customers while opening doors to new business. This hands-on position combines applications engineering, sales support, and on-site field service, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, results-oriented setting. Key Responsibilities
- Expand revenue by nurturing existing accounts and actively pursuing new prospects across the San Francisco market.
- Provide applications engineering guidance to translate customer needs into the right technical solutions.
- Deliver responsive sales support throughout the buying process.
- Perform field service work on site, troubleshooting and ensuring equipment performs as intended.
- Collaborate closely with the broader sales team to meet performance targets.
Qualifications
- An engineering background paired with genuine drive and self-motivation.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment where results matter.
- Willingness to balance technical problem-solving with customer-facing sales activity.
- Readiness to complete extensive formalized training as part of onboarding.
- Ability to work on site in and around San Francisco, California (this is not a remote role).
