About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Lead to join Archie on a full-time basis. This is a senior leadership role working hand-in-hand with the CTO to define system architectures, set technical direction, and lead our engineering and development teams. We are looking for a profile with deep full-stack and cloud expertise, strong strategic vision, and proven leadership, with mastery of an AI-first philosophy — someone capable of designing production-grade system architectures while mentoring teams and driving technical excellence across the organization. Since our team and stakeholders are international, conversational English is required for this role.

Responsabilities

• Partner directly with the CTO to define, document, and evolve system and application architectures across the platform.
• Set technical direction and standards, making high-level design decisions that balance scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering and development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Architect and oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and scalable deployments.
• Design and review full-stack solutions spanning frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Golang, Node.js) services.
• Apply an AI-first philosophy to the design of architectures, processes, and tooling integration throughout the development lifecycle.
• Architect and integrate AI/LLM-powered solutions using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, and the Anthropic and OpenAI SDKs.
• Define data architecture strategy across relational and non-relational stores (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, CI/CD, containerization, testing, and system observability.
• Drive technical roadmap planning, balancing long-term architectural vision with near-term delivery priorities.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews, providing clear technical guidance to development teams.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and patterns that improve engineering velocity and product quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and stakeholders — communicating in English when needed — to translate business goals into robust technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Software Architect, or equivalent senior engineering leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of directing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to define and own end-to-end system architecture for production-grade applications.
• Mastery of an AI-first philosophy and experience applying it in development environments.
• Cloud: Strong, hands-on expertise with AWS (required).
• Languages & Frameworks: Deep proficiency with React, Golang, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• AI Frameworks: Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, the Anthropic SDK, and the OpenAI SDK.
• Databases: Solid experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and scalable architecture patterns.
• Ability to balance strategic technical vision with hands-on execution.
• Conversational English (required) for daily communication with the team and stakeholders.
• Intermediate to Advanced English (B2+ / C1)

• Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Background in AI/ML platforms or developer tooling.
• Experience defining technical hiring standards and building interview processes.
