About the Role As a Tax Senior with Elliott Davis, you'll take on a leadership role within our tax services practice. You'll manage individual and flow-through entity tax returns across the engagement lifecycle—from client data gathering and analysis through completion and delivery. This position combines hands-on technical tax work with supervisory responsibilities, allowing you to mentor developing team members while expanding your own expertise in business taxation and strategic tax planning. Core Duties Prepare and review individual income tax returns and flow-through entity returns at all complexity levels Analyze client business transactions and structures to identify tax planning opportunities Conduct focused tax research to address client needs and explore alternative approaches Oversee data collection from client sources, the assurance team, and third-party providers Resolve technical issues and open items on assigned engagements Manage multiple concurrent client assignments to on-time, on-budget completion Direct, train, and coach junior staff through engagements; delegate work thoughtfully Deliver constructive performance feedback to team members on a regular basis Identify and help develop new service opportunities within your existing client base Engage actively in firm committees and departmental initiatives What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 2 years of recent public accounting experience CPA license or substantial progress toward certification Demonstrated ability to prepare and review complete financial statement packages Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities Effective time management and workload prioritization More About Elliott Davis Elliott Davis is a forward-thinking CPA and consulting firm with nine offices in some of the country's fastest-growing markets.
