About the Role

As a Target Security Specialist, you'll be a visible presence on the sales floor, protecting people, property, and the Target brand. Working from our Virginia, Saint Louis County location, you'll respond to incidents, support team members, and help lead through unexpected situations with composure and professionalism. The starting rate for this position is $18.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard guests, team members, and store assets throughout daily operations
• Maintain an alert, approachable presence that deters theft and discourages unsafe behavior
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and crisis events as they arise
• Partner with store leadership and the Assets Protection team to reduce shrink and loss
• Document incidents accurately and follow established safety and security procedures
• Promote a secure, service-focused atmosphere that reflects Target's values

• Clear, confident communication with guests, team members, and leaders
• Ability to remain composed and decisive during crisis or high-stress moments
