UX/UI Designer
Location: Remote in Latam
Job Type: Full-Time Employee or Contractor
Contract Type: Colombia labor contract or Contractor
Key Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications that are visually appealing and easy to use.
- Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) to understand pain points and opportunities.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate concepts effectively.
- Ensure responsive and accessible design across devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Apply data-driven decision-making, leveraging A/B testing and analytics to refine designs.
- Stay updated with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and usability principles.
- Experience designing responsive interfaces and working with design systems.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts (not necessarily to code, but to communicate effectively with developers).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent English (B2+), both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and user-centered mindset.
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and proper equipment.
