About the Role

As a Swim Instructor at the Prosper ISD Natatorium, you will teach and model correct swimming fundamentals while guiding participants toward competitive-level performance. This hourly, full-time position is based on-site in Prosper, Texas, and is ideal for a dedicated aquatics professional who thrives in a hands-on coaching environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clear, engaging swim instruction that develops proper stroke mechanics and water skills.
• Demonstrate techniques in the pool and emphasize the building blocks of competitive swimming.
• Promote a safe, encouraging learning atmosphere for swimmers throughout each session.
• Monitor participant progress and adjust coaching to meet individual skill levels.
• Uphold all natatorium safety standards and aquatic protocols.

Qualifications

• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred, though not mandatory.
• Prior aquatic or swim instruction experience preferred.
• Sound physical and mental fitness to actively lead in-water instruction.
• A professional, dependable presence and strong rapport with swimmers.
