Shaheed A. Smith Geospatial, Llc is hiring a Survey Division Manager in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania — a senior leadership opportunity for a Professional Land Surveyor ready to build, guide, and grow a thriving survey practice.
About the Role
As Survey Division Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations and long-term direction of our Survey Division. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this full-time, exempt position blends hands-on technical surveying expertise with the people leadership and production oversight needed to expand the division. The role is based at our Doylestown, PA office, with regional travel as project needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop survey staff while shaping a high-performing team culture.
- Oversee production workflows to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on schedule, and within scope.
- Drive the growth and scaling of the Survey Division across people, processes, and output.
- Provide senior operational direction and serve as a technical authority on land surveying matters.
- Coordinate with leadership and travel regionally as needed to support field and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Active licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).
- Proven experience in a senior operational or management capacity within land surveying or geospatial services.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding teams and managing production.
- Ability to work on-site in Doylestown, PA and travel regionally when projects demand.
