Supported Employment Manager

Impact Support Services is hiring a full-time Supported Employment Manager to lead Career Services for individuals working toward meaningful, lasting employment. Based in Pierpont, Boone County, in the Columbia, MO area, this role blends program leadership with hands-on community impact.

About the Role

As the Supported Employment Manager, you will direct the Career Services program at Impact Support Services, guiding a team that helps clients secure and sustain competitive jobs. You will shape program strategy, build employer partnerships, and ensure every participant receives individualized, goal-oriented support. This is an exempt, full-time position offering a salary range of $50,000–$65,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Career Services and supported employment program
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of employment specialists and job coaches
• Cultivate relationships with local employers to expand job placement opportunities
• Design and monitor individualized employment plans aligned with each client's goals
• Track program outcomes, maintain compliance, and report on key performance measures
• Collaborate with community partners, families, and referral sources to support client success

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in supported employment, vocational rehabilitation, or career services
• Proven leadership or program management background, ideally supervising staff
• Strong understanding of job development and employer engagement strategies
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• A dedicated, motivated approach to helping people with barriers achieve employment
• Ability to work on-site in the Pierpont, Boone County / Columbia, MO area
