Supervisor, Operations – 12 Hour Shift (2/2/3)

Lead a high-performing production team at ThermoFisher Scientific in Greenville, Pitt County, as an Operations Supervisor working a rotating 12-hour day shift (2/2/3 schedule). About the Role

As Supervisor, Operations, you will guide frontline staff through daily production activities within a cleanroom and manufacturing setting. Reporting into the operations leadership structure, you will balance throughput, compliance, and team engagement across each 12-hour shift, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the activities of operations associates throughout each 12-hour day shift on a 2/2/3 rotation.
• Uphold and enforce all GMP requirements, safety standards, and cleanroom protocols across the production floor.
• Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coats, and ear protection.
• Monitor output, troubleshoot issues, and keep production moving while protecting product quality and integrity.
• Coach, develop, and support team members, promoting accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly across shifts and supporting functions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising teams within a regulated manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
• Working knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and cleanroom practices.
• Willingness and ability to work a 12-hour day shift on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom that prohibits hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, and facial hair, and that requires PPE.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
