About the Role

As a Subcontract Technical Representative 3/4 at Los Alamos National Laboratory, you will serve as the technical point of contact between the Laboratory and its subcontractors in White Rock, Los Alamos County. This opening is available to external candidates only. The position may be filled at either the level 3 or level 4 grade based on the qualifications and experience of the chosen applicant, with broader duties assigned to candidates selected at the higher level.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison overseeing subcontractor performance on assigned projects.
• Monitor field activities to confirm work is delivered according to scope, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and management to keep deliverables on track.
• Document and report on technical progress, compliance, and any issues requiring resolution.
• Take on additional oversight duties associated with the level 4 designation when hired at that grade.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience administering or representing technical subcontracts.
• Strong understanding of technical project oversight, quality requirements, and contractor coordination.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for liaising across teams and external partners.
• Ability to work on-site in White Rock, Los Alamos County in a full-time capacity.
