About the Role
iFLY Careers is searching for an enthusiastic STEM Educator to lead hands-on, wind-tunnel-based learning experiences for school groups in Roseville, Placer County. This is a part-time, flexible position, with the majority of field trips taking place on weekday mornings, Monday through Friday. If you love translating science into unforgettable moments for students, this role lets you do exactly that.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide elementary, middle, and high school students through immersive, age-appropriate STEM field trips.
- Make physics, aerodynamics, and scientific concepts engaging and accessible for a wide range of learning levels.
- Deliver dynamic instruction during weekday morning sessions in a fun, energetic environment.
- Help maintain iFLY's reputation for high-quality educational programming as part of a nationally recognized team.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for teaching STEM and influencing young learners.
- Comfort presenting to and managing groups of students across elementary through high school grade levels.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex ideas approachable.
- Availability for weekday morning field trips and the flexibility this part-time schedule offers.
- Based in or able to reliably commute to Roseville, Placer County (this is an on-site role, not remote).
