Steel Construction Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Steel Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of commercial and industrial steel projects from project kickoff through final completion. This role is responsible for coordinating engineering, detailing, fabrication, delivery, installation, and project closeout activities while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety standards.

What You Will Do

Manage multiple steel construction projects through all phases, including preconstruction, fabrication, installation, and closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules to support engineering, submittals, procurement, production, shipping, field installation, and final turnover activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of project management experience within construction, steel fabrication, steel erection, or related industries
• Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of steel construction practices, materials, methods, and installation procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform project-related calculations and conduct field verification when necessary
