SpaceX is hiring a Sr. Material Flow Analyst at our Starbase, TX facility to optimize inventory management and material flow operations that directly support spacecraft production. This full-time, onsite position requires flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet major milestones, and plays a critical role in ensuring materials move efficiently through our manufacturing operations. Position Summary As a Sr. Material Flow Analyst at SpaceX's Starbase headquarters, you'll use advanced analytics and systems knowledge to drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across our materials management operations. Your data-driven insights will directly impact production timelines and operational performance in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment where precision and speed are equally critical. You'll partner with operations leaders, production coordinators, and specialists to ensure parts move through our processes on schedule and material systems support our most demanding production goals. Core Duties Maintain high inventory accuracy by monitoring daily cycle counting programs and responding immediately to process failures, discrepancies, or data integrity issues Identify and implement process improvements using data analysis, tracking outcomes in safety, accuracy, delivery performance, and productivity gains Ensure material availability for production by coordinating with operations leaders and production teams to resolve shortages, prevent delays, and position materials where they're needed most Analyze operational metrics regularly, prepare data-driven reports with clear insights and recommendations, and present findings to leadership Support critical initiatives by providing analytical support for design decisions, managing task completion, monitoring schedules, and ensuring on-time project delivery Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum 6 years of professional experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain management At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PowerBI, SQL, and ERP systems in an operational context Advanced proficiency with SQL for operational analytics and complex query writing Experience building and maintaining business intelligence dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platforms Mastery of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, and data modeling for analysis Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, MRP/ERP platforms, and production control principles Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with compressed timelines and ambiguous problem statements Understanding of supply chain fundamentals and…
