Responsibilities Lead and mentor software engineering teams delivering FICC trading, pricing, and risk systems Define technical strategy and architecture for fixed income, currency, and commodities platforms Drive code quality, performance optimization, and operational resilience across team deliverables Collaborate with business stakeholders, traders, and risk management to prioritize features and resolve production issues Evaluate technology choices and manage technical debt to support business velocity Foster a culture of engineering excellence, continuous learning, and cross-team collaboration What You Bring 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a management or technical leadership role Deep expertise in fixed income, currencies, or commodities markets—or proven ability to rapidly master financial domain knowledge Strong proficiency in one or more core financial engineering languages (C++, Java, Python, or similar) Demonstrated success building or leading high-performance, low-latency systems at scale Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern software architecture patterns Excellent communication skills and ability to lead across engineering, business, and operations teams About the Company Wells Fargo is a leading global financial services company with a major presence in New York serving institutional and individual clients worldwide.
