What You'll Do Coach special education teachers in developing and implementing data-driven IEPs that drive measurable student progress Support related service providers—speech therapists, occupational therapists, school psychologists, and others—in integrating specialized services into classroom instruction Model and demonstrate evidence-based teaching practices for students with disabilities Analyze student data and instructional outcomes to guide coaching priorities and professional growth Co-teach and mentor educators to strengthen special education practices and implementation fidelity Support compliance with special education regulations and district initiatives What We're Looking For Valid special education teaching certification or license Demonstrated expertise in special education instruction and student assessment Strong knowledge of IEP development and data-driven instructional practices Experience coaching, mentoring, or professional development with educators Excellent communication and collaborative skills with diverse stakeholders Commitment to supporting students with disabilities and building educator capacity About Windsor Public Schools Windsor Public Schools is dedicated to providing quality instruction and meaningful support for all students, including those with disabilities.
