Sorter/Packer

Mount Family Group, LTD is hiring a full-time Sorter/Packer based in Plattsburgh, Clinton County — a hands-on production role at the heart of our packaging and fulfillment operations.

About the Role

As a Sorter/Packer with Mount Family Group, LTD, you'll work directly on the production floor to sort, inspect, and pack finished goods so every order leaves accurately prepared and ready for shipment. You'll be a key contributor to a team that takes product quality and workplace safety seriously, keeping operations running smoothly from line to loading dock.

What You'll Do

• Sort and pack finished products accurately and at a consistent pace to meet production targets
• Feed raw or semi-finished materials into packaging machinery and support line operations as needed
• Perform visual and tactile inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming items before products are packed
• Prepare packaged goods for outbound shipment, including labeling, sealing, and staging cartons or pallets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with facility safety standards
• Coordinate with teammates and operations leads to keep the production line moving efficiently
• Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or supply shortfalls to the appropriate team member promptly

What We're Looking For

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm motions throughout a full shift
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail — you notice when something is off and act on it
• Dependability and a consistent attendance record
• Basic ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to keeping shared workspaces safe and orderly
• Prior experience in sorting, packing, assembly, or general manufacturing is a plus but not required
