Fit summary

Strong fit if you enjoy pre-sales technical work, learn products fast, and stay calm under live customer scrutiny—less so if you want pure coding with no customer contact.

Day in the role

As a Solution Consultant I at New Relic, you shape demos and proof-of-value around observability: instrumentation, APM, logs, and AI-era monitoring. Typical day: discovery calls, tailored product walkthroughs, technical Q&A with architects, and handoff notes for sales. You translate customer pain (latency, outages, agentic workloads) into New Relic workflows and success criteria.
