On the go HR is hiring a full-time Social Media Manager in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County to grow and shape the online voice of our client, Bin & Buy, a value-focused discount retailer.
About the Role
As the Social Media Manager, you will be the digital face of Bin & Buy, building an engaging social presence that connects with shoppers across every platform. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Salt Lake City, ideal for a creative storyteller who understands how to turn a brand mission into community and conversation. Bin & Buy opened in 2020 with a simple promise — customers should pay less without ever feeling like less — and operates both a physical discount store and an online shop, alongside periodic auctions.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Bin & Buy across social channels and develop a consistent, recognizable brand presence.
- Plan, create, and schedule content that highlights in-store deals, online products, and upcoming auctions.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and nurture an active online community.
- Grow audience reach and strengthen the connection between the brand and its customers.
- Track engagement trends and refine content to keep the brand's voice fresh and on-message.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business.
- Strong writing skills and a talent for creating content that resonates with everyday shoppers.
- Familiarity with major social platforms and the tools used to schedule and measure posts.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working on-site in Salt Lake City.
- An understanding of retail and e-commerce audiences is a plus.
