About the Role This is a full-time, on-site Site Reliability Engineer position in Gothenburg. Automate provisioning and configuration through Terraform and Chef. Conduct thorough root cause analysis for outages and apply systemic fixes for both one-off and recurring problems. Take part in a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding quickly to production incidents. Anticipate and resolve performance bottlenecks while advancing continuous improvement through post-incident reviews and process refinement. Qualifications 3+ years in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or comparable role. Deep, practical AWS experience, including a solid command of AWS networking concepts. Advanced Linux skills spanning engineering fundamentals, networking, storage, and operating systems. Expert troubleshooting ability and a demonstrated record of cutting system downtime. Strong proficiency with Terraform and Chef, plus a clear preference for infrastructure-as-code over manual changes. Experience managing observability suites such as Grafana and the ELK Stack. Clear technical writing for incident reports, composure under pressure, and excellent collaboration and communication skills. Preferred: Kubernetes, message brokers (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch), OpenTelemetry, large distributed systems and microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
