As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from corporate/commercial lawyers who are interested in supporting a key Pharmaceuticals client at Simmons & Simmons.

The role is expected to run until the end of the year on a full-time remote basis (although the client is open to accommodating a 4-day week for the ideal candidate).

The role is to support on a restructuring project, and will involve supporting on liquidation, due diligence, corporate restructuring, reviewing entities, transferring and closing down entities.

They will consider the full spectrum of seniorities for this role (junior – senior).

Person specification:

• You are a qualified corporate or commercial lawyer.
• Previous in-house experience is a plus, but not a necessity.
• You are proactive and trustworthy, with a hands on approach.
• You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
• You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
• You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
• You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
• You will be required to hold he relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
