Mercor is hiring a Signal Processing Engineer as a Contract position for 20 hours/week. The engineer will evaluate AI model performance, produce problem sets, and collaborate with research teams. The role requires a PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience and expertise in signal processing.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Working fluency in at least two of: signals and systems, control systems, communications, power, electromagnetics
- Comfortable interpreting frequency response plots, Bode diagrams, Smith charts, and performance curves
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
Benefits
- Hourly contractor with a starting rate of $85/hour
- Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput
