Pay Your Way: Payments as a Service
Pay Your Way (“PYW”) – a business unit, B2B(2C) product and platform inside SYW – is a new Credit-as-a-Service offering for Merchants, Digital Marketplaces, and more that want an embedded credit offering without the hassle of setting up a direct credit relationship with a bank or underwriter. We make it easy for Partners of any size to improve their conversions, drive new revenue, save on transaction and payment costs, and create more repeat business.
Our existing partnerships with clients such as Citibank, Raise.com, and others make the next generation of loyalty and credit a reality. Built on the latest technology, our roadmap has laid the foundation to enable innovation and growth for years to come.
Role Summary: Business Analyst
Pay Your Way (a business unit, B2B(2C) product and platform inside SYW) is looking for an experienced top-notch Business Analyst to grow with our digital team!
As a Business Analyst you will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative team. Someone that values the “team” and maximizes the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product owners & user experience design team to gather requirements & document requirements in BDD format
- Work with product owners to get sign off on requirements
- Translate demo feedback from Product owners into requirements and track the scope changes
- Work with Dev & QA team to Groom user stories
- Work along with development & QA team to clarify questions pertaining requirements
- Review work of BA peersParticipate and contribute to Agile ceremonies
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or Computer Science or master’s degree in business/MBA
- Experience in performing requirements analysis and documentation
- Knowledge and experience in Insurance domain (premium audit preferably)
- Knowledge and experience in Agile methodology
- Should be a strong communicator & good team player
Nice to Have skills
- Familiarity with SAFe methodology is a plus
- Reverse engineering or reengineering effort is required to a degree. Knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL, Visual Basic is a plus. But this is not a mandatory
- Communicate the strategies and trade-offs to the VP and CEO
- Work cross-functionally, align understanding in real-time with engineering, architecture, stakeholders, and other various teams throughout the software development lifecycle
