About the Role
As a Service (Maintenance) Technician at Centerspace, you'll be the go-to expert for the day-to-day upkeep of a residential apartment community in Burnsville. This is a full-time, on-site position (not remote) focused on maintaining property systems, resolving service requests, and ensuring every apartment home meets a high standard of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete resident service and repair requests across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents, including turns, repairs, and inspections.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the Connelly On Eleven community.
- Support upkeep of grounds, common areas, and amenity spaces.
- Respond to maintenance needs promptly while delivering friendly, professional service to residents.
Qualifications
- Practical maintenance experience across general building and apartment systems.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, customer-focused approach to resident interactions.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Burnsville, Dakota County.
Compensation
The base pay for this Service (Maintenance) Technician role is expected to begin in the range of $20.00–$24.00 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and primary work location.
