SEO Specialist

Full time (40 hours/week)
$1280-1600/month (based on experience)
Location: Remote (PH-based), independent contractor (UK working hours)

We’re hiring an SEO Specialist to join a fast-growing digital marketing agency working with clients in the health, wellness, lifestyle, and service-based industries. If you’re an analytical thinker with a strong command of both on-page and off-page SEO — and comfortable using AI tools to scale and optimize — we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own local and national SEO campaigns end to end — audits, strategy, implementation, and reporting

• Optimize site structure, technical SEO, metadata, and content across platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, and Wix

• Use tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and GSC to monitor rankings, uncover insights, and drive performance

• Upload and optimize content using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Surfer SEO) for scale and consistency

• Manage local SEO, including GBP optimization, citations, and location-specific pages

• Collaborate with content writers and designers to ensure alignment with SEO goals

• Execute white-hat link building strategies

• Report progress and adapt strategy using data-led decision-making

• Stay organized using Slack and Asana for team communication and task tracking

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of SEO experience, ideally across service-based or local business niches (preferably UK-based, but not required)

• Hands-on experience using SEMrush, Ahrefs, GSC

• Familiarity with multiple CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, SquareSpace, and Wix)

• Strong understanding of local SEO, technical SEO, and content best practices

• Confident using AI tools to support content planning and execution

• Highly organized with strong communication skills

• Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment

Bonus Points

• E-commerce SEO experience

• Familiarity with schema markup and structured data

• Understanding of CRO and basic UX principles
