SEO Specialist

Vacation Rental Brands, LLC. is hiring a full-time SEO Specialist to join the Awayday owner marketing team on-site in Destin, Okaloosa County, Florida — focusing exclusively on organic search strategies that reach property owners and real estate buyers, not travelers.

About the Role

This position sits at the intersection of search marketing and property owner acquisition. While a separate team handles guest-facing SEO, you will own the search channels that connect Awayday with homeowners evaluating vacation rental management programs and with buyers actively exploring property investment in coastal markets. Your work directly drives the top of the owner pipeline.

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-intent queries from property owners and prospective buyers at every stage of the decision journey
• Develop and execute on-page optimization strategies for owner-acquisition landing pages, blog content, and market guides
• Collaborate with content, design, and web development teams to implement technical SEO improvements and ensure crawlability, page speed, and structured data are consistently sound
• Build and manage a local SEO presence targeting Destin, the Emerald Coast, and surrounding Okaloosa County markets
• Perform competitive gap analyses to identify opportunities where Awayday can outrank competing vacation rental management companies
• Track, measure, and report on organic performance using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and third-party SEO platforms
• Identify and pursue relevant link-building opportunities that grow domain authority within the vacation rental and real estate verticals

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in SEO with measurable results in organic traffic and ranking growth
• Solid command of technical SEO fundamentals — site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and crawl budget management
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or equivalents
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly in Google Search Console and GA4
• Ability to translate keyword data into content briefs and actionable recommendations for writers and developers
• Familiarity with the vacation rental, real estate, or property management industry is a plus
• Clear written communication skills and the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
