Paired is seeking a Senior Video Editor to produce high-end content across real estate, lifestyle, and YouTube formats, working remotely with our Los Angeles-based systems and collaborating closely with our team to deliver engaging, high-quality content that aligns with our brand and editorial style.
Requirements
- Edit long-form YouTube content with strong pacing and audience retention in mind
- Develop and refine voiceover structure and narrative flow
- Create engaging trailers and short-form cuts from long-form content
- Collaborate with the team to maintain and elevate a consistent editorial style
- Deliver high-quality edits efficiently within deadlines
- Manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables in an organized manner
- Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve
- Ability to work remotely via Parsec and operate Apple Studio systems
- Strong and stable internet connection for seamless remote workflow
- Comfortable working within a server-based environment
- Creative storytelling instincts and narrative development skills
- Good sense of music selection, sound design, and pacing
- Understanding of YouTube content dynamics and audience retention strategies
- Ability to contribute creative ideas while aligning with an established style
