Senior IT Manager, Infrastructure Architect (Banking)
A fast-growing China-based Bank with its Group Company listed in Hong Kong is looking for a high-calibre Infrastructure Architect to join her Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Build Enterprise Infrastructure, Cloud and Containerized architecture to align with the technology strategy of the Bank
- Define end-to-end cloud and virtualization infrastructure strategy, standard and process, establish framework and operation model for enterprise architectures, and manage system infrastructure using cloud and virtualization standard and technique
- Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards and best practices related to enterprise architectures, and ensure they are consistently applied
- Maintain and review IT technical standard components to align with the technology strategy
- Identify, evaluate and manage the associated risks related to Infra and Cloud architecture
- Provide expert advice on technical best practices, industry trends and emerging technologies in related domains
- Research, identify, and evaluate new technologies or products in the related area that are of value to IT development
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
- At least 10 years of post-qualification IT experience with minimum 5 years in Infra Architect or Cloud Architect related roles, preferably in banking or financial services industries
- Strong experience in managing IT infrastructure, including network, storage, server, OS, virtualization technology, databases, middle-tier software management
- Strong experience in designing and managing Infra / Cloud platforms and related technologies, including data centers and distributed databases
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure architectures, particularly in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS enterprise cloud computing and containerized architectures, technology, and applications
- Profound knowledge in enterprise security architecture, design and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
