What You'll Do Lead tax planning and compliance engagements for construction and real estate clients, including partnership tax returns, developer structures, and entity-level strategy Develop innovative tax solutions addressing capitalization, depreciation, cost recovery, and income allocation challenges specific to real estate and construction Manage client relationships, translate complex tax issues into actionable guidance, and communicate recommendations at executive and board levels Oversee and mentor junior tax staff, review work products, and contribute to firm-wide technical standards and training Collaborate with Adams Brown's audit, accounting, and advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions Stay current with tax law changes and industry developments affecting construction and real estate sectors What We're Looking For Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required 5+ years of progressive tax experience in construction, real estate, or related industries Demonstrated expertise in partnership taxation, entity structuring, and real estate-specific tax planning Proven ability to manage complex engagements, lead teams, and build client relationships Strong technical research and communication skills; ability to explain tax strategy clearly to non-specialists Professional demeanor and commitment to client service excellence About Adams Brown Adams Brown specializes in serving construction and real estate clients, along with those in healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, professional services, closely held business, local government, and not-for-profit sectors.
