About the Role As a Senior SRE focused on Network Engineering, you will sit within the Connectivity Team in N26's Platform Engineering domain. Key Responsibilities Architect, build, and take full ownership of cloud network products and services that strengthen the security, reliability, and connectivity of N26's unified infrastructure. Collaborate closely with product, SRE, security, and other partners to translate their requirements into the right connectivity solutions. Contribute to shaping strategy, roadmap priorities, and technical direction. Coach and uplift fellow engineers across the team. Continuously grow your own cloud expertise and technical depth. Qualifications 5+ years working in network engineering, SRE, or an adjacent discipline. Hands-on track record designing, deploying, and running hybrid network architectures. Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure, especially core networking: Transit Gateway, Elastic Load Balancers, VPCs, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPNs, and Route53. Solid grounding in general networking — firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, NAC, and virtualization — plus network security principles and tooling. Scripting fluency in Python or Go. Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management. Familiarity with Linux, Atlantis, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication, a genuine sense of ownership, and a structured, proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
