Speechify is a company that provides text-to-speech products to turn reading into audio. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, and C#. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows desktop application development, accessibility APIs, and a user-centric mindset.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Windows desktop application development
- Deep understanding of Windows application architecture
- Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-quality desktop applications
- Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals
- Experience leading technical design, mentoring other engineers, conducting code reviews, and making architecture-level decisions
