The position emphasizes technical leadership—whether through code quality, performance excellence, architectural choices, or cross-team mentorship. You'll work on-site in Redwood City with flexibility for partial telecommuting when not in the office. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $187,574 to $197,574 per year. What You'll Do Design and build scalable frontend applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks, supporting millions of transactions across global e-commerce operations Create reusable component libraries and architectural patterns that enable teams to ship consistently and reliably Optimize for performance through code-splitting, client-side rendering strategies, caching, and accessibility improvements Integrate frontend services with backend systems and distributed APIs, ensuring robust error handling and secure data flow Review code and technical designs at a senior level, establishing standards for production-grade reliability Partner with product, design, and backend teams to translate business needs into technical implementation Define service level objectives, manage error budgets, and lead incident response for critical issues Build observability infrastructure—metrics, traces, logs—and implement resilience patterns (circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads) for cloud-native systems What We're Looking For Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline (or U.S. equivalent), plus 3 years of professional software engineering experience 3+ years working in agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and delivering within sprint cycles 3+ years collaborating with design teams to implement responsive, visually polished interfaces while balancing user experience with technical feasibility 3+ years designing and developing React components with strong knowledge of state management, component lifecycle, and conditional rendering patterns 3+ years working directly with browser APIs and…
